Bruce Rosenstein

This is the website for Bruce Rosenstein and the books Create Your Future the Peter Drucker Way, published by McGraw-Hill and Brilliance Audio, in 2013; and Living in More Than One World: How Peter Drucker’s Wisdom Can Inspire and Transform Your Life, published by Berrett-Koehler, in 2009.

Since 2011, I have been Managing Editor of Leader to Leader, the award-winning quarterly journal co-published by Jossey-Bass/Wiley and the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Forum.

On the site you’ll find more information about my books, my work as an author, editor, and speaker; and my blog, Living in More Than One World.

I worked for USA TODAY for 21 years, until December 2008, as a librarian/researcher. Beginning in 1996, I wrote about business and management books for the newspaper’s Money section.

Besides USA TODAY and Leader to Leader, I have written for such publications as PBS Next Avenue, Leadership Excellence, GAMA International Journal, Information Outlook, and American Executive.

Since 1996, I’ve been an adjunct professor at the Catholic University Department of Library and Information Science in Washington, D.C. I received the 2016 Roger Summit Award from the Association of Independent Information Professionals/AIIP, and delivered the annual Roger Summit Lecture. The Special Libraries Association/SLA named me in 2012 as one of two recipients of the 2012 Rose L. Vormelker Award for “dedication to mentoring, outstanding instruction in graduate school settings, and their own professional achievements.”

I have a BA in Communications from The American University, in Washington, D.C., and a MSLS from The Catholic University of America.

Create Your Future the Peter Drucker Way

You can dream it. You can plan it. You can try to make it happen. But you can never really prepare for the future unless you have a future-focused mindset. That is the underlying message behind the inspiring words and wisdom of Peter Drucker; who believes that the future must be created—day by day, person by person—rather than be left to chance.
