24 Eclectic Best Books of the Year Lists for 2024

In today’s post, I’m following up on my books of the year roundup from 2023, as well as my June 26 post ’24 Curated Book Lists For Summer 2024.’

The 2024 lists come from a wide range of sources, and provide information on fiction, nonfiction, and poetry books and their authors, as well as displays of beautifully designed book covers.

After two years of awarding the Financial Times and Schroder’s Business Book of the Year award to academics, it was announced on December 9 that the winner for 2024 is Parmy Olson, a Bloomberg technology columnist, for her book Supremacy: AI, ChatGPT, and the Race that Will Change the World.

Congratulations to all the authors included in these 24 lists. And I’ll repeat what I have included in various earlier book lists posts: Shoutouts to publishers, editors, agents, attorneys, accountants, publicists, researchers, cover artists, designers, photographers, librarians, indexers, production specialists, assistants, marketers, sales people, and others who don’t always get the credit they deserve for their work in creating books.
