I’ve been gratified by the strong response to my recent blog post “69 Educators Who Remind Me of Peter Drucker’s 1969 Learning and Teaching Quote.” The quote that inspired the post is from Drucker’s book The Age of Discontinuity: “Learning and teaching are going to be more deeply affected by the new availability of information than any other area of human life.”
I noted that some of the people on the list of educators are those I’ve worked with in my capacity as managing editor of Leader to Leader. In this new post, I’ve included links to our articles featuring them. Some are bylined; others are interviews I conducted for our regular “From the Front Lines” feature. In the cases of authors who have published more than one article with us, I’ve included the most recent.
The articles, on a wide variety of topics, should give you a strong sense of why I chose these educators for my list.
